Billy Dale Glass

On October 5, 2019, Billy Dale Glass, husband and father of two daughters, passed away at age 77.
Bill Glass was born on June 22, 1942 in Cullman, AL to Richard and Lois (Easterwood) Glass. On December 16, 1960 he married Jo Anne (Cooke) Glass. They raised two daughters Cathy Glass Atchley (Vint) and Deborah Glass Dickson (John).
Bill worked at Parker Hannifin and retired from there in 1997. After his retirement, he built homes in and around the Huntsville, AL area. He liked fast cars, to play golf, try new recipes, and watch TV (mostly Westerns). He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Bill leaves behind his wife, Jo Anne, daughters Cathy and Deborah, 5 grandchildren, Tyler Knight, Morgan Atchley Tracy (Cody), Anna-Kate Knight Wales (Cory), Laura Leigh Knight Roadruck (Patrick) and Andrew Dickson, six beautiful great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
The visitation will be at 11am on October 8, 2019 at West Huntsville Baptist Church on Triana Blvd. The funeral service will be held at 12pm with a graveside service to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
The family requests donations to be made to The Legacy Center at West Huntsville Baptist in lieu of flowers.
