David Lee Dempsey, 57, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017.
David was a son, a brother, a devoted husband, a loving father, a life-long meat cutter, a talented house painter, and an obsessive Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Dempsey, and his brother Mark Dwayne Dempsey. He is survived by his mother, Mary Francis Williams Dempsey; his sisters, Melissa Dempsey Byrom, Vanessa Dempsey Abney; his wife, Brenda Kay Wilbourn Dempsey; his three daughters, Christina Dempsey Bratcher, Holly Nicole Dempsey, Brandi Louise Dempsey; his five grandchildren, Treston Allan Kinzle, Christopher Robert Dylan Dempsey, Keelan Allan Kross Kinzle, Isaiah Dwayne Ray Youngblood, Saniyah Leianna Devin Bratcher; and several other family members and great friends.
David was a strong, caring, and generous man who would’ve given the shirt off his back to a stranger at a moment’s notice. He will be truly missed.
