Donna Marie Avery, 66, of Hazel Green, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2019. She was born in Nauet, New York.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Avery, by her parents, Fredrick Jackson Peterson and Georgiana Edwards, both of New York and by her eldest brother, Richard Peterson. She is also preceded in death by a nephew, Randy Simpson.
She is survived by Clifford and Johnathon Simpson of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a gathering of friends and family on Saturday, January 12th at 11am at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at Noon at the funeral home.
