Frank Foley, Sr

Frank Ray Foley, Sr, Age 63 of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at his home. Frank was born on April 3, 1952 in Holden, West Virginia, the son of Naomi Pearl(Burress) Foley and the late Richard Laird Foley. He graduated from Chapmanville High School in West Virginia in 1970 and from Columbia College in 1983. He was a member of the US Air Force and he retired as a Sergeant First Class in the US Army in 1993. He then went to work for Dunlop Tire Corporation as a Maintence Supervisor and retired in 2003. He enjoyed collecting and restoring vintage cars, hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte Ann(French) Foley of Hazel Green, Alabama. His three children, Melissa Chimento;son-in-law Michael Chimento of Pelham, Alabama; Heather Corkery;son-in-law Jason Corkery of Toney, Alabama; Frank Ray Foley Jr. of Hazel Green, Alabama. Grandsons: Joseph "Joe" Chimento and William "Will" Riley and Granddaughter Katherine "Katie" Chimento. One Sister and Five Brothers: Larry Foley(Rita) Danville, IL, Robert "Bob" Foley(Patty) of Chapmanville, WV , Diana(Foley) Elliott(Clay) Titusville, FL, Greg Foley(Janell) Cocoa, FL, Bruce Foley(Debi) Brooklyn, MI, and Mike Foley(Laura) Mims, FL. Mother-in-law: Florence Rose French of Grafton, ND; Brothers-in-law: Gregory French of Grafton, ND, Peter French of Grafton, ND ; Sister-In-Law: Mary Eng of Ham Lake, MN.
Preceded in death by his father Richard Laird Foley of Mims, Florida;Father-in-Law Charles H. French of Grafton, ND and Brothers-in-law Michael H. French of Grafton, ND and John Eng of Minneapolis, MN.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14 2015 at Hazel Green Funeral Home from 5-8pm
Funeral Service is Thursday, October 15 2015 at Hazel Green Funeral Home at 1pm.
Interment: Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama
