Jimmy D. Hopper
October 23, 1949 — August 18, 2015
Jimmy David Hopper, 65, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. He was a graduate of Huntsville High School and a veteran of the US Air Force where he served in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Hopper.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Hopper; His daughter, Alison Hopper Hughes; His son, Jimmy David Hopper Jr.; His sister, Shirley West; 2 grandsons: Patrick Baugh and Jackson Hughes; Granddaughter: Winter Hopper.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at 1pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville at 2411 Memorial Parkway. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2pm. A committal service is being planned at Alabama National Cemetery and will be announced by Hazel Green Funeral Home.
