Marilyn B. Wolfe, 82, of Huntsville, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning.
Marilyn was born to the late Sharper and Eva Lee Bush Branch, grew up in DeRidder, Louisiana, and graduated from DeRidder High School. She married her husband, Sam Wolfe, in 1953 and shortly thereafter moved to Alabama where her husband served as a pastor. Marilyn supported her husband in ministry and was a piano teacher for 54 years and also served as church organist for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her two sons, six grandsons, and her great-grandchildren.
Surviving family members include her husband of 63+ years, Dr. Sam Wolfe; Her sons, Lavone Wolfe and Danny Wolfe; Her grandsons: Gary (Cheryl) Wolfe, Gabe (Emily) Wolfe, Nathan (Ashley) Wolfe, Shane Wolfe, Matthew Wolfe, and Dylan Wolfe; She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:30am until 1:30pm at West Huntsville Baptist Church on Triana Boulevard. Funeral services will follow at 1:30pm with Dr. Junior Hill and Pastor Scott Gossett officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
