Maxie Moss GoodwinJanuary 28, 1939 ~ July 1, 2011Mrs. Maxie Moss Goodwin, 72, of Hazel Green died Friday. Survivors include her husband, Walter Goodwin; her children, Mark and Connie Goodwin, Brian Goodwin, Greg and Beth Goodwin all of Hazel Green; her sisters, Jean Ratley of Toney, Evelyn Huggins of Toney, Karen Gipson of Madison, Donna Hancock of Fayetteville, Margie Newell of Birmingham; her brothers, Doug Moss of Madison, Wilton Moss of Lacey Springs, Rex Moss of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Parker, Emma and Ben Goodwin. Mrs. Goodwin was preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Ruth Moss and one sister, Ann Ratley. Visitation is Tuesday 5 to 8 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service is Wednesday 11 am at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New Sharon Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
