Ronald Johnson
October 22, 1946 — May 1, 2021
Ronald Johnson, 74, of New Market, passed away on Saturday.
He was a twenty year veteran of the United States Air Force and then worked for a number of years in electronics in Huntsville. He enjoying tinkering with things that needed to be fixed. Ronald was a Christian and was raised in the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Posey & Lorene Johnson his brother, Roy Johnson and nephew Michael Johnson.
Surviving family members include his wife of 47 years, Frances Johnson; His children: Ronald Johnson Jr, Brian Johnson, Brenna O'Brien, and Derek Lovelace; He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Juanita Riddle and Beverly (Jerome) Acuff; 3 nephews: Aaron Acuff, Christopher Acuff and Ricky Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday at 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with Elder Nate Alexander officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Charity Cemetery.
