Survivors include his wife, Betty Buchanan; his children, George, Larry, Tommy, Anthony, Lisa Buchanan Byars; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Buchanan was preceded in death by one son, Robert Buchanan. Visitation is Saturday 5 to 8 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service is Sunday 2 pm at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in Cochran Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
