Alda T. Neely

Alda T. Neely, 87, of Hazel Green, was surrounded by her family as she went home to be with her Lord on September 26, 2010.She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Wildon C. Neely. Her daughter Dean West and her husband Claude, and her son Randy Neely. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shari Appel and husband Mark, Cary West and his wife Sheri, Robyn West, Tracy Neely and his wife Wendy, Monnie Neely; eight great-grandchldren, and one great-great grandchild.She is preceded in death by her parents, Pleas and Sallie B. Towry; her brothers, Jack and "P.U.T." Towry and her son Gary Neely.Throughout her life she was happiest when surrounded by her family. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking, and being a homemaker. She lived a life well lived and was loved by many. She was a member of the Harmony Hill Church of God.Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 12:00 with the service following at 2:00 at Hazel Green Funeral Home with the Reverends Ennis Hyman and Dwayne Pierce officiating. The interment will follow immediately at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
