Aloisia "Louise" Braman passed away on June 4, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital surrounded in love by her family and friends. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Louise was cherished and loved by all who met her until her final breath.
Born in Wertheim, Germany on February 9, 1947 to Richard and Julianna Schmied, Louise was a lifelong seamstress who blessed many with her talents and gifts throughout her life.
She married her husband, Gary Donald Braman of Hazel Green, Alabama, on December 3, 1976, and had four children: Christian John Braman (wife Jennifer Braman) of Clemmons, NC; Astrid Marie Nettleman (husband Steve Nettleman) of Bronson, MI; Patrick David Braman (wife Janice Braman) of Richmond Hill, GA; and Jeremy Lee Braman (wife Beth Braman) of Athens, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by three brothers: Franz Schmied (wife Uschi Schmied), Johannes Schmied, and Willie Schmied (wife Kathy Schmied), all of Germany. She is also survived by her husband, children, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Louise Braman will be honored on Saturday, June 7, with a visitation from 10 to 11am at Hazel Green Funeral Home, followed by Mass at 12:00 pm at Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Fayetteville, TN.
