Annette S. HudsonJune 27, 1937 ~ January 9, 2010Mrs. Annette Hudson 72, of Hazel Green, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday. She is survived by two daughters, Rita Mathis of Hazel Green and Reba Poland of Eastaboga. One step-son, Spencer Hudson. Her husband, Melvin Hudson.Eight grandchildren, Dwain Poland, Daniel Hillis, Jared Poland, Chris Mathis, Patty Lynn Hillis Tate, Charley Hillis, Kaitlyn Annette Cloer, Daniel Cloer. One step-grandchild, Jacob Hudson. Two sisters, Jeannette and Quitman Hall and Joann Eiland. One brother, Walter Sexton. She was preceded in death by her son, Miles Hillis. Her parents, Mike and Essie Sexton, Chuck Hillis - the father of her children, and her former husband, Homer Shockley.She also leaves behind her church family at the First Baptist Church of Hazel Green and many friends who loved her very much.Visitation with the family will be Monday from 5 until 9pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Bobby Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery.Please visit
