Archie L. Mcmurtrie

Archie L. "Mac" McMurtrie, 83, of Hazel Green, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2021. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, avid photographer and all around mister-fix-it.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie L. McMurtrie Sr. and Flossie McMurtrie and by his son-in-law, Bobby R. Lipscomb.
Surviving are his wife of more than 57 years, Jill McMurtrie; His daughters, Donna Lipscomb and Tamela (Monty) Henson; His sister, Jane Hoffman; His grandson, Avery Henson; His granddaughters, Erin (Dustin) Davis, Shaelyn and Brynlea Henson; His great-grandson, Maverick Davis, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10am until 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Kim Scites officiating. Burial will follow the service and will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
