Arthur Carl Miller

Mr. Arthur Carl Miller, 94, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on Thursday morning at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Miller was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II in the 3rd Army under General Patton.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Miller who passed away October 3, 2010, and by his eight siblings.

Surviving family members include his children: Jim Miller and his wife, Andrea;  Judy Dunn and her husband, Russell;  Joey Miller and his wife, Whitney;  Jerri Muirhead and her husband, Jeff;  His 11 grandchildren:  Jennifer, Carl, Julie, Jill, Jamie, Angela, Lauren, Caroline, Haley, Jared, and Zane;  His  15 great-grandchildren:  Clark, Claire, Noah, Madelynn, McKenzie, Mallorie, Ryder, A.J., Nick, Marcie, Brandon, Brianna, Bear, Alyssa, and Harper.  Five great-great grandchildren: Nick Jr., William, Zayden, Ryley, and Alec.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be on Sunday at 1pm at the funeral home with Bro. Steve Hale officiating.  Burial will follow in New Sharon Cemetery.
