Funeral services for Barbara Ann Denton age 79 of Grant, Alabama will be conducted Friday 1PM at First Baptist Church in Grant, Alabama with Rev. Anthony Barnes officiating and burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery with the Hazel Green Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Denton passed away Tuesday at her residence in Grant, Alabama. She was a native of Madison County and was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Denton, one daughter, Dreama Dean Woody and by her parents, Robert and Myrtle Johnson Shores.
She is survived by three sons, Ernie Dwayne Denton, George Allen and Terry Denton and Tony Ray and Karen Denton, two sisters,
Betty Stapler and Nita Humphrey, grandchildren, Cody and Kelly Denton, Brittney Denton, Daylon Denton, Brandon and Leasha Bartlett, and Katerina Boyd, great grandchildren, Caleb Denton, Shadow Boyd, Lily Boyd and Oliver Bartlett. Pallbearers will be Steve Johnson, Jackie Johnson, Forrest Shields, Skeeter Davis, Steven Shadden and Brandon Bartlett.
Visitation will be Friday 11-1PM at First Baptist Church in Grant, Alabama.
