Betty Preston McElyeaNov. 15, 1935 - Feb. 2, 2012Mrs. Betty Preston McElyea, 76, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. Survivors include her son, Steve Preston; her step-son, Tommy McElyea; six grandchildren, Danny Nash, Tony Shield, Kayla Preston, Phillip Preston, Justin McElyea, Brooke McElyea and her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Shield. Visitation is Sunday 6 to 8 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service is Monday 1 pm at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Charity Cemetery.
