Mr. Billy Bennett Sr, 76, of Toney, passed away on Friday.
Mr. Bennett served in the United States Army and had retired from Sunbeam Bakery where he worked in maintenance as an electrician.
He was preceded in death by his parents: W.O. & Lottie Bennett of Toney; His brothers: John Wayne & Ray Bennett; His sisters: Rosie Cloud & Gracie Mae Lane.
He is survived by his sons Billy Jr & Steven Bennett; Daughter-in-law, Lisa Bennett; His six grandchildren: Brandy Nicole Latham, Billy Joe Bennett, Steven Alan Grant Bennett, Summer Geddings, Autumn Bennett, and Wynter Bennett; Five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bennett is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Jean Byrd, Louise Duskin, Carolyn Bennett, Kay Pierce, Franky Bennett, and Oliver Bennett.
At Mr. Bennett's request, there will be a private family service held later.
