Billy Dean Walker

Billy Dean Walker, 73, of Toney, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at home while surrounded by his loving family after a two-and-a-half year battle with cancer.  He lived on the family farm and spent his time raising cattle and enjoying his grandchildren.  He was a graduate of Sparkman High School and was a Deacon at Plainview Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Clay Walker and Delma Patterson Walker, and by his brother, Bobby Walker.

Billy leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Bonnie Smith Walker; His son and daughter-in-law, Brian & Faith Walker; His three grandchildren: Hope Walker, Brandon Walker, and Claire Walker;  His brother, Sammy Walker;  His sister-in-law, Judy Walker; His special cousin, Weldon Plant; He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends.

There will be a drive-thru visitation with the family on Monday afternoon, May 4th, 2020, from 4 until 6pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Due to Covid19 restrictions, there will be a private graveside service for the family at Plainview Cemetery with Bro. Tim Boyett officiating.
