Bobby "Possum" Pierce

Mr. Bobby "Possum" Pierce, 64, of Hazel Green, passed away on Thursday.
He loved doing woodwork, riding his motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He was a Christian and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and was a sweet and loving father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Pierce, and by his grandparents, Will and Ada Pierce, and H.C. and Ella McDougal.
He is survived by his mother, Agnes M. Pierce; His son and daughter-in-law, Jeff & Suzi Pierce; His daughter, Gina Tanner and her husband, Deon; His daughter, Melissa Pierce and her fiance, Barry Priest; 6 grandchildren: Walker Pierce, Eli Pierce, Jessica Pierce, Seth Fults, Chasity Tanner, and Ryan Tanner; 3 great-grandchildren: Chloe LaFayette, Taylin Coats, and Addie Fults.
The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 10:30am at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:30pm also at the funeral home with Pastor Lon Ostrzycki officiating. Burial will be in Bevill's Chapel Cemetery.
