Bobby Larry Smith , 73 , of Kelso , Tennessee passed away January 24, 2014 surrounded by his family in Fayetteville , Tennessee. He was born on March 4, 1940 in Coldwater , Tennessee to Garland and Beatrice (Curtis) Smith.
Mr. Smith worked his entire career as a welder. He was a strong Christian man, loved fishing with his children and grandchildren, and was a dedicated father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a loving man.
He is survived by his children: Karen, Marian, Jason, & Debbie. His grandchildren: Shelly, Ashley, Matthew, Jonathan, Adam, Daniel, Micheal, and Nathan. His great-grandchildren: Curston Homer, Carlon, Brian, and Addison. Mr. Smith is also survived by by his former wife, Helen Smith, by his two brothers, L.C. and Hubert Smith, and by a favorite nephew, Terry Smith.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian;
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11am until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, TN.
Shelly, Brian, Adam, Jonathan, Matthew and Daniel will serve as casket bearers. Ashley, and great-grandchildren Curston Homer, Carlon, and Addison will lead the casket.
