Bobby A. Smotherman

Mr. Bobby A. Smotherman, 69, of Alvarado, Texas, formerly of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Smotherman;  His mother, Louise Smotherman; His father, Riley Smotherman;  His brothers, Paul Earl Smotherman and John McCutcheon;

Surviving family members include his daughter, Amber Smotherman;  His son, Caleb Smotherman;  His two granddaughters, Chelsea McEvoy and Marley Stewart;  His siblings: Peggy De La Torres, Grapy Hovis, Joe Smotherman, Roger Smotherman, Ezra Smotherman, and Rickey Smotherman; He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from Noon until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Pastor Benny Berry officiating.  Burial will be in New Sharon Cemetery.
