Bobby Ray (Jr) Sullivan

Bobby Ray Sullivan Jr. of Huntsville, originally of Hazel Green, passed away on Thursday.  He was 56.  Bobby had attended Hazel Green Elementary School and Huntsville High School and was the first employee hired by Stanley Graham Construction when they went into business in the 90s.

Bobby enjoyed going to Tunica and loved to travel, especially to Aruba.    He was known for being the person you would call if you needed help or needed anything fixed.  In spite of being short-tempered, he was dependable, kind and compassionate, and always wanted to help others.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Posey Luna;  His great-grandparents:  Albert & Lillian Treece and Enoch & Maggie Luna;  His uncle, Randall Luna.

Surviving family members include his mother Phylliss Neal (Frankie);  His brother, Gerald Sullivan;   His grandmother, Eveline Luna; His long-time companion, Sharon Hamby;  His sister, Kim Barnard (Daniel);  His nephews:  Tyler Sullivan (Samantha) and Brent Sullivan;  His aunt, Nancy Wilburn (Earl);  His uncle, Darrell Luna (Rino);  He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday at 12:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Terrell Boyd officiating.   Burial will follow the service and will be in Charity Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Sullivan, Brent Sullivan, Trey Staples, Blake Long, Garey Stenseth, Josh Neal, and Eric Neal;  Dear friend and honorary pallbearer, Joey Baker.

Jr will be remembered for his love for his family, his work-ethic, and for his willingness to help others.
