Bobby Glenn Whitt

Mr. Bobby Glenn Whitt Sr, 71, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday at a local hospital.

He was the son of the late Grady & Elsie Mae Whitt and helped them to develop the Blue Water Springs Park in the Toney community.  He spent most of his life in the Huntsville/Madison County area and had retired from Huntsville Fire & Rescue after 30+ years of service.  Throughout his adult life he enjoyed farming when not on duty with the fire department.  Bobby also loved spending time with his daughter and daughter-in-law riding horses and with his son and son-in-law doing chores on the farm.

Bobby is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Glenn Whitt Jr & Monica;   By his daughter and son-in-law, Amy Lynn Bannister & Kenny;  He was looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home.   A Celebration of Life will follow at 2pm in the chapel.  The Huntsville Fire and Rescue Honor Guard will provide honors.
