Bonnie Lancaster

Bonnie Lancaster, 68, of Hazel Green, passed away on Saturday at a local hospital surrounded by her children.
She spent her life working tirelessly for those around her - sacrificing her personal time for others who needed her help. Her two sons were the center of her world until her grandchildren were born - and then her world became bigger. She never had any daughters of her own, but she was blessed with two daughters-in-law whom she loved dearly.
She devoted nearly 30 years of her life to the children of Hazel Green Elementary School where she worked in several different jobs - mostly as school bookkeeper.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick & Amanda Lancaster, and Andrew & Christina Lancaster; Her grandchildren: Angelica, Alexis, Connor, Caleb, & Layna Lancaster; Her mother: Esther Black; Her sisters: Judy Jordan & Polly Heard;
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 4 until 7pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7pm also at the funeral home with Pastor Donnie Stone officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Clarkston, Michigan.
