Bonnie (Walden) Mires

Bonnie Walden Mires, 58, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Monday while surrounded by her loving family.

She was a 1976 graduate of Butler High School and worked for Kmart for a number of years before leaving to care for her mother.  Bonnie loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren who were very special to her.  She was a Christian and a baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean Francis Schrimsher Walden and Clay Walden Jr;  By her brother, Gary Walden; and by her sister, Teresa Baugh.

Surviving family members include her husband, Carl "Bud" Mires;  Her son, Justin Mires and his wife, Jessica;  Her daughter, Kristie Mires; Her sister, Kim Daly and her husband, Wil;  Her brothers: Donald Walden and his wife, Becky, David Walden and his wife, Deb, and Clayton Walden and his wife, Brenda;  Her grandchildren: Jordyn Mires, Shaelyn Mires, and Ryleigh May;

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Shane Walden, Amanda Walden, Latonia Burdge, Jenny Walden, Misty Terrell, Zach Goodson, Wesley Baugh, Chad Walden, Johnathon Daly, and Megan Springer.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Thursday at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Eddie Graves officiating.  Burial will follow in Flint River Cemetery on Moore's Mill Road.

Casket bearers will be Hunter Billions, Dylan Clem, Timmy Mires, Tommy Mires, Kevin Mires, Adam Mires, Jeff Billions, and George Patterson.  Johnathon Daly will be an honorary bearer.
