Brenda was a beloved wife, mother and Granna (she met her goal of being the youngest and coolest around).  She was beloved by all who knew her.  Brenda enjoyed her work in interior design and helping people achieve their home decorating dreams.  She enjoyed travel and was always ready to be “on the go”.  She was a long-time faithful member of Plevna Free Holiness Church.

Brenda is survived by her husband Rodney Hillis.  Two sons, Shane (Tammy) Hillis and Ron (Candi) Hillis.  Grandchildren Morgan (Carl) Johnson, McKenzie Hillis, Sierra (Trey) Hastings, Somer (Jacob) McCoy, Casi Lynch, Christy (Dave) Watley, Jacob (Nicole), Heard Tonya (Jonathan) Edwards, and Roxanne (Nathan) Wright.  Three great-grandchildren Jayce Hillis, Rhylie Johnson, and Kozic Hastings.  One brother Shawn Henson and sister Danean (Greg) Hancock. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon Henson and Edna Mae Miller and in-laws James and Edna Hillis.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 28th from 5-8 pm at Plevna Free Holiness Church and Monday, March 29th from 12-1 pm.  The funeral will be held Monday, March 29th at 1 pm at the church.  Burial to follow in Bevill’s  Cemetery.
