Cathy Gail Solway, 64 , passed away on February 27, 2025. She was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee, to the late Carl Lester and Jeanette Humphrey.  and spent most of her life in Huntsville and the Ardmore area.

Cathy was a devoted wife to Kerry for 43 years.   She was also  a dedicated mother and a loving grandmother who enjoyed every moment with her children and grandchildren.  She loved flowers, loved  gospel music, and what brought her the greatest joy was being outdoors. Being outside gave her a deep sense of peace, joy and happiness.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kerry Solway; and her sister, Sherrie Lanford.

She is survived by her sons; Kerry James Solway and Micheal (Jennifer) Solway; her  grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessica, and Ryan Solway; her brother-in-law, Andy Lanford and Ed Solway; and her sister-in-law, Sandra Martinez;  her nieces, Brittany Lanford and Heather Fox, along with many other nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A service to honor and celebrate her life will be begin at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025  at Hazel Green Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery.
