Survivors include her mother, Shirley Jones; her daughter, Christy Thompson; her son, Bradley Thompson; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Haislip, Allyson Haislip, Callie Mangrum; her sisters, Peggy Phillips (James), Cheryl Bryant (Wayne) and Kimberly Fowler (Tom). Ms. Thompson was preceded in death by her father, Houston Jones. Visitation is Friday 4 to 8 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service is Saturday 11 am at the Hazel Green Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service is Saturday 2 pm at Adamsburg Cemetery in Ft. Payne, Alabama.
