Chad Nelson
January 3, 1987 — November 14, 2020
Chad Nelson, 33, of Hazel Green, passed away on Saturday.
He was a good person who always helped other people. He had recently rededicated his life to Christ and was a member of Park City Baptist Church. Chad loved spending time with his family and his friends, never met a stranger, loved talking to other people, and always had a smile on his face.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, CW3 Retired Gary P. Smith and by his grandmother, Gerda Selle.
Surviving family members include his wife, Jenny Nelson; His two sons, Dylen Bryant and his wife, Charlene, and Gracen Nelson; His parents, Robert & Virginia Nelson; His brother, Joshua Nelson and his wife, Jamie; Two nieces, Brylee & Kenna Nelson; His grandmother, Carol Smith.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening beginning at 5pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Caldwell officiating.
