Survivors include his children, Cindy Slayton and Patsy Pickett; his sisters, Charlotte Peavy, Tommie Damron, Frances McElyea and Mary Floyd; six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. Visitation is Monday 5 to 8 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service is Tuesday 12 noon at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Milburn Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery in New Market, Alabama. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
