Charles HolderDecember 26, 1936 ~ November 3, 2009Mr. Charles Holder, 72, of New Market died Tuesday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Carol Wheeler Holder; his daughters, Galia and Bruce Vineyard, Wanda and Duke Popa, Polly and Scott Smith; his son, Robert and Karrie Holder; his grandchildren, Juston and Jennifer Phipps; Robert, Joseph, Olivia Wagman; Nicholas Holder; Lucas, Savannah, Emily Smith; his great-grandson, Austin Phipps; his sisters, Helen and Steve Wood, Myrtle Morris, Mattie Summers, Betty and John Bruen; his brother, Clarence Holder; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Holder was preceded in death by his parents, Otha and Addie Holder; five brothers, James, Bill, Raymond, Winford and Joe Holder; and one sister, Lona O'Neal. Visitation will be Saturday 5 to 8 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service is Sunday at 11 AM at the funeral home chapel with Bert Wiggers officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
