Christina "Chrissy" Cranfill Hoopengardner, 44, of Hazel Green, passed away on Thursday after a brief illness.
Chrissy was part of the Hazel Green High School class of 1997 and was a loving and devoted daughter, mom, sister, and wife. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved them all, including all her nieces and nephews. She was sometimes hard-headed and stubborn but enjoyed living life to the fullest and was always happy and laughing.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Wayne Cranfill; Her grandmother, Peggy Renfroe; Her grandmother, Nancy Wilbur; Her grandfather, Keith Wilbur; Her grandfather, Bobbie Hallmark.
Surviving family members include her daughter, Aubrey Hoopengardner; Her fiance, Aaron Sullivan; Her mother, Ruth Taylor. Her sister, Tina Russell and her husband, Shawn; Her sister, Tammy Smith and her husband, Matt; She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be Sunday at 5pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Lon Ostrzycki officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service. In accordance with her wishes, Chrissy will be cremated.
