Clara Mae CothrenJuly 24, 1924 - January 4, 2012Mrs. Clara Mae Cothren, 87, of Hazel Green died Wednesday at a local hospital. Survivors include her children, Janice Sanders, Barbara Cothren, Connie Cothren, Ronnie Cothren, Evelyn Peters, Pamela Moore, Sheila Wilbourn, Stanley Cothren; her sister, Ernestine Nichols; 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cothren was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Cothren; and her children, Leslie Cothren, Martha Reyer and Don Cothren. Visitation is Thursday 6pm to 8 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral services is Friday 1 pm at Stateline Friendship Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Marable, Rev. Rusty Lincoln and Rev. Billy Taylor officiating. Mrs. Cothren will lie in state one hour prior to time of service. Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
