He served 24 years in the US Army and was aVietnam Veteran. He was then a JROTC instructor for 16 years inDekalb, Mississippi.He is survived by his sons, Clifford L. III and wife, Starr and JamesCharles. His sisters, Pat Bennett and husband, Chester and JeanGilliam and husband, David. His granddaughter, Kayla Nicole Gaston.Nieces, Felicia Lampe and husband, Michael and Cynthia Crabtree.Nephews, Johnathan Alex and wife, Jessica Bennett and Kevin Allen andwife , Regina Bennett.The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8pm at Hazel GreenFuneral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2pm at thefuneral home. Burial with full military honors will follow at FaithMemorial Park.Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
