Clifton Everett

Clifton Everett, 81, of Hazel Green, Al went to be with the Lord Sunday morning. He was survived by His Alabama Family :  Jeanette Swinford, Children: Joanie and Russell Welch, Melody Swinford  Grandchildren: Beverly Welch, Stephanie Verville (Ed), Natosha White (Stan), Alice Welch, Joshua Gibbs,  Great-Grandchildren: Aydan, Arabella, Zoie and Matthew.

Sister: Louise Everett

His Ohio/Kentucky Family: Nephew: Billy Knott,   Nieces:  Jewel Mckenzie, Ruby Nell Lovett,   Great Nieces:  Sherry, Debbie and Zorana. Plus many more nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in Death by His Parents: William and Flora Everett   Sister: Clara  Brothers: Clinton, Claude and John

Clifton was born in Jackson, Al.  He moved to Ohio in his early 20s but visited Alabama often before moving back and making Alabama his permanent home. His friends knew him as Cliff, Clifford and Stink.  Clifton was always outdoors tinkering with something, whether that be working in his garden or in the garage.  He enjoyed fishing, traveling, music and spending time with good friends and family.  He was a good man and will be missed by many.

Services will be held at Hazel Green Funeral Home on January 21, 2020.  Visitation will be from 5-7 with service following immediately after.  Brother Mike Jerome will be officiating.  Clifton will be buried with his parents and siblings in Kentucky.
