Cloie Inez (Lowery) Malcom

Cloie Inez Malcom, 87, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Thursday.

Cloie loved her family dearly and was a dedicated, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and was affectionally known as "Memaw" by her family.  She was a faithful, passionate Christian and a  long-time member of Huntsville Park Baptist Church and then Bethlehem Baptist Church where she especially loved praising her Lord through singing in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Malcom; Her brother, Rayford Lowery;  Her parents, Robert & Ila Mae Lowery.

Surviving family members include her daughters and sons-in-law:  Belinda & Jeff Hipp and Becky & Greg Davis;  Her grandchildren:  Jennifer Hinton, Kristin (Doug) Williams, Patrick (Kaci) Anderson, Heather James, Kaylee (Adam) Davis, Kyle Davis;  Her great-grandchildren: Lexi, Anna, Jenna, Landon, Karson, Elisha, Morgan, and Jackson.; Her great-great-granchildren: Brynleigh and River; Her sisters, Rachel Traylor Johnson and Peggy Cooper;  Her sister-in-law, Phyllis Tigue.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12pm until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Pastor Lon Ostrzycki officiating.  Burial will then be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
