Curtis "Stick" Mccollum

Funeral services for Curtis “Stick” McCollum age 72 of Hazel Green will be conducted Thursday 11 AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Lones officiating and burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery. Mr. McCollum passed away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Sunday morning. He was a devoted husband, loving father, doting “Paw Paw” and lifetime resident of Hazel Green. Curtis lived a life full of various hobbies to include fishing, playing guitar, watching Alabama football and NASCAR. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sweet spirit and his love for everyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Zolen and Alverine Campbell McCollum and is survived by his wife of forty one years, Peggy McCollum, one daughter, Kelley and Dustin Middlebrooks, two grandchildren, Taylee and Adyn Middlebrooks and a host of loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening 5-7 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home
