Daisy Virginia Biles Hendrix

Daisy Virginia Hendrix was born in Hazel Green, Al on October 5, 1926 and went to be with our Lord on December 15, 2012 while in Nashville, TN.She was a longtime member of Hazel Green United Methodist Church where she raised her 2 daughters. She worked at Redstone Arsenal for 32 years and then enjoyed a lengthy retirement. Her grandchildren were her light and life.She is survived by 2 daughters: Joy Hendrix Snyder of Nashville and Jeanne Hendrix Vinson of Huntsville. 5 grandchildren: Josh Vinson of Auburn, Amanda Vinson Self of Auburn, Ashley Vinson Vanhooser of Troy, and Zach and Jacob Snyder of Nashville.She also loved her son-in-law Michael Vinson and 2 grandsons-in-law Kevin Self and Mark Vanhooser.She is also survived by her sisters Brenda Bourbon, Sandra Morris, and brothers Walter Carlson and Lloyd Carlson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rena Stone.After a private graveside service, she will be laid to rest at Charity Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hazel Green United Methodist Church.
