Danny Samuel Sledge

Funeral services for Danny Samuel Sledge age 39 of Athens, Alabama will be conducted Thursday 1PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with David Miller officiating and burial following in the Wright Cemetery in Lincoln County. Mr. Sledge passed away Saturday at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Dempsey, father in law, J.B. Sledge, maternal grandparents, Stella Mae and Anderson Sledge, grandparents, Betty Jean and James Edward “Red” Franklin.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Sledge, his mother, Fay Dempsey, his children, April and Bryan Vincent and Jackie and Debra Boyett, three brothers, Jeremy Dempsey, Brandon Dempsey and Jason Dempsey, his grandchildren, Jackie Matthew Boyett, Jada Garner, Kenny Garner and Brooke Garner, his mother in law, Dovie Sledge, his brothers and sisters in law, Sonya and Randy Boyett, Lorrie Eakes and Erik Limblom, James Sledge, Jeremy and Amanda Sledge and Joseph and Amber Sledge.

Pallbearers will be, Terry Eakes, Bryan Vincent, Jason Dempsey, Scotty Sledge, Randy White and Jason Corey Sledge.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening 5-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
