Darren Lynn Moore

Darren Lynn Moore, 52, of Locust Fork, passed away on Sunday.

Fishing was Darren's favorite hobby and he was an avid Alabama football fan.   He was a very kind and giving person who was always willing to give to others and was a hard worker.  He loved his family and his grandchildren very much and had many friends. Recently, Darren confessed his sins and gave his life to the Lord.

Darren was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Estelle Moore, his uncles, MIlton "Popper" Moore and Bobby Moore; His parents, W.T. Owens and Barbara Moore;  His brothers, Jerome and Mathew Owens.

Surviving family members include his girlfriend of 21 years, Pam Boatright;  His sister, Regina Owens; His step-brothers, Greg Owens and Mark Owens; His nephew, Bryan McDonald; His great-nephew, Jathan McDonald;  His niece, Dene'; He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 2pm at Diamond United Methodist Church located at 5400 Warrenton Road in Guntersville with Pastor Beaul Hunkapiller officiating.  There will be a dinner following the service at the church.
