Darry Lynn Mcmeans
November 10, 1952 — December 6, 2022
Darry Lynn McMeans, 70, of New Market, passed peacefully on Tuesday with family by his side. He was loved by many. He was a quiet, gentle, man. He served in the Army as a medical specialist in Germany. He loved to cook alongside his wife.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Jeanette McMeans, his parents, William F. And Louise Jean, and James McMeans; his brother, James Robert (Bobby) McMeans; and his buddy, Sparky.
Survivors include his siblings, Carolyn Jean McElyea (Larry), Shirley Jean Steelman (Wayne), and Jimmy William Jean (Kelly); his step-children, Gary Waller (Cathy), Janice Eldon (John), Mark Waller, Stacey Waller, Regina Munn (Eugene), Jeffrey Waller, and Joseph Waller; his nephews, Daron and James McMeans; and nieces, Carol Steelman Rutledge, and Melanie Steelman Henley. He had three special buddies: Eric Wayne Rutledge, Owen William Henley, and Charlotte Rose Henley.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Hazel Green Funeral Home from 12 until 2 PM with funeral services following at 2 with Dr. Willie Brunetti officiating. Burial will follow at Stateline Cemetery.
