David Paul Beagle

David Paul Beagle, age 50, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, passed away at his home after fighting a hard battle with “relapsed” multiple-myeloma cancer.  David departed this life on Saturday, May 28, 2016, surrounded by loved ones who were by his side singing and playing gospel songs for him and reading some scriptures he loved – in hope of comfort to a gorgeous and wonderful person whom we could not bear to give up.  We will never be able to replace this sweet, serene, and precious person in our lives.  We live in anticipation of seeing him in a better place when this life we must depart, as we will all have to do someday.  May we all be able to live life with the sweetness, friendliness, and kindness that this man, David Paul Beagle, possessed in his wonderful character of living this life here on earth and showing his love to family and friends.  He has taken his “Flight Without An Airplane” as the song that he dearly loved to hear sung says.

Funeral services will be held at Hazel Green Funeral Home in Hazel Green, Alabama on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016, at 3pm.  Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home and again on Wednesday morning beginning at 11am.  David will be laid to rest in Cochran Cemetery in New Market, Alabama.

Survivors include his loving wife, Margaret Priest-Beagle,  Two sons: Russell Beagle and Wesley Beagle;  One daughter: Amanda Fae Beagle and one grandson, Landon; Two step-daughters: Cenchrea Lanier and Elena Knecht and their children, Rachel Lanier, Kristopher Knecht, and his great-grandson, Kristopher Ellis Knecht;  One brother: Dale Beagle;  One sister: Laurel Luenberger; Two nephews: Jeffrey Beagle, Stephen Luenberger;  One niece: Stacy Luenberger; He is also survived by countless friends who will mourn our loss of him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Fae (Barnes) Beagle and David Lawrence Beagle.
