Delma Hill Wright
April 7, 1925 — February 6, 2015
Mrs. Delma Hill Wright, 89, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Friday. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a Christian and a member of Midway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vineyard Haynes, her mother, Josie Mae Haynes Satterfield, by her husbands, Murphy Hill and Bruce Wright, by her son, Randall Hill, and her daughter, Brenda Kay Hill as well as her daughter-in-law, Diane Hill; She was also preceded in death by her brother, Renzie Haynes, and her sisters, Louise Sisk, Irene Diasourakis, and Ellen Williamson.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki & Richard Barrett; Her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Cindy Hill; Her daughter-in-law, Wanda Hill; Five step-children; Her step-brothers, Durwood Satterfield and Leamon Satterfield; Seven grandchildren: Randy, Sandi, John, Jason, Trent, Erin, & Lyndsay, along with several step-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wright is also survived by her dear, life-long friend, Thelma Henson.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30pm at the funeral home with Dr. Van Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Bevill's Chapel Cemetery.
