Diane Mcelyea Campbell
August 10, 1955 — February 27, 2014
Patricia Diane McElyea Campbell, 58, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Thursday evening while surrounded by her family.
She had been employed by Amana for 19 years until 1995 when she was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease. Diane was a Christian and a member of Bevill's Chapel Baptist Church in Hazel Green.
She was preceded in death by her father, Houston McElyea, and her mother, Euna McElyea Bullington. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers: Terry McElyea, Johnny Sharp, and Rickey Sharp.
Diane is survived by her husband of 42 years, Phillip Campbell; Her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Ruthane Campbell; Three Grand-children: Morgan, Ryan, & Emma Campbell; Several Nieces and Nephews, and her mother-in-law, Reba Campbell, who lovingly cared for her during her illness. Other survivors include her brothers-in-law and their spouses: Danny (Diane) Campbell and Ralph (Brenda) Campbell.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at the Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Benny Berry officiating; The family will begin receiving friends at Noon. Burial will follow in Bevill's Cemetery.
