Donald M. Slayton, 74, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday.
He is survived by his wife, Reda Joyce Slayton; His children: Donna Snow, Donald Ray Slayton, Larry Wayne Slayton, Amanda Pruitt, Donna Longmire, Kimberly Carter;
His grandchildren: Ralph Taylor, Tabitha Cobb, Justin Slayton, Daniel Slayton, Ashley Slayton, Larry Wayne Slayton Jr., Brandon Slayton, Josh Pruitt, Cody Benedict, Christina Musgrove, Richard Longmire, Morgan Longmire, Hunter Sullivan, Tanner Sullivan, Christian Carter, Katie Carter, Brooke Carter, Trey Carter, and Andrew Carter. Ten great-grandchildren.
His brothers: Harry, David, Chester, Danny, and Ricky Slayton; His sisters: Sherry Cloud, Vivian Crane, Linda Johnston, Evie Gardner, Violet Bankston, Chris Slayton;
He was preceded in death by his parents: Everette & Ora May Slayton; His brothers, Leslie, Jimmy, Ray, and Lanny Slayton;
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Chester Slayton officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery on Old Huntsville Highway in Lincoln County, TN;
