Donna Kaye (Hargrove) Franklin

Donna Kaye Hargrove Franklin, 59, of Toney, passed away on Friday morning at her home surrounded by her loving family.   She was a loving mother who was devoted to her children and loved them unconditionally, especially her daughter, Hope, whom she cared for and helped to walk.    She was a selfless person who cared more about others than herself.  She enjoyed yard sales and Alabama football.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Hargrove and Sally Augusta Bohannon Hargrove; By her sisters, Betty Jean Hargrove Farrar and Clara Ruth Hargrove Silva;  By her brothers, James Wesley Hargrove and Terry Lee Hargrove.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Wade Franklin;  Her children, Delilah (Mike) Hinton, Amanda Nicole Franklin Manley, and Hope Renea Franklin; Her grandchildren, Shawn & Miranda Hinton and Brandon & Logan Manley.

Donna is also survived by her three sisters,  Trixie Lee Hargrove Dickerson, Margaret Ann Hargrove Adamski, & Brenda Sue Hargrove Williamson;  2 brothers, Bobby Hargrove and David Hargrove.

The family will receive friends on Saturday night from 4pm until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:30pm at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Hovis officiating.  Burial will follow in New Sharon Cemetery.
