Donna A. Kimbrough Arrick

Donna A. Kimbrough Arrick, 66, of Lyons, New York, originally of Vann Town, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 11, 2016.

Ms. Arrick was born May 10, 1950 in Fayetteville, Tennessee.  She was the daughter of the late J.W. Kimbrough and Kyle Gardener Kimbrough.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Cox, and by her two brothers, Ted Kimbrough and Tony Kimbrough.

Donna is survived by her life partner, Mr. Gene Lasher of Lyons, New York;  Her son, Christopher Simmons of Fayetteville, Tennessee;  Her granddaughter, Ms Shauna Simmons;  Two Sisters, Mrs. Betty (Carey) Miles of Athens, Alabama and Mrs. Regina (Benny) Berry of Hazel Green, Alabama;  2 step-children, Stephen (Erin) Lasher and Suzanne (Deanne) Lasher;  Four step-grandchildren: Gabrielle, Janto, Ryan, and Ayden.   She is also survived by two nephews: Lawrence Miles and Tony (Shana) Kimbrough;  Three nieces:  Amanda (Danny) Goode, Nikki (Chris) Franklin, and Emilea (Matt) Treece, and with a host of aunts, uncles, and other family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 2pm at Bevills Chapel Baptist Church in Hazel Green, Alabama.   Burial will follow the service and will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Vann Town, Tennessee.
