Doris Fay Hopkins
August 9, 1943 — October 9, 2014
Doris Hopkins, 71, of Huntsville, passed away on Thursday. She was a Christian and a member of the Five Points Baptist Church. She was also a loving and devoted mother and mawmaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hopkins and two sisters, Jenny Luna and Mamie Russell.
Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Lisa Hopkins; Her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Lindsay and Austin Owens; Her grandson, Jaden Hopkins; Three sisters: Joyce Shelton, Shirley Riggins, and Fannie Carr; She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30pm at the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Kimbrough officiating. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery.
