Ed Berisford
February 23, 1944 — February 15, 2022
Ed Berisford, 77, of Hazel Green, passed away on Tuesday. Ed was known for his kindness, giving heart, and was a very loving husband and father.
He was a gifted musician and was able to play several instruments. He played with several bands in Alabama and Tennessee. He was a licensed pilot for nearly his entire life and had a passion for flying model aircraft and teaching others to fly them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Marge Allen Berisford, and his uncle, Al Berisford.
Surviving family members include his wife, Pamela Berisford; His daughter, Jennifer Scroggins and her husband, Eric; His step-children, Tucker Campbell and Casey Horton and her husband Nick; His sister-in-law, Kim Smith and her husband Jim Schoener, His father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger & Patsy Brock, and nephew, Josh Smith and his wife Tarah.
The family celebrated Ed's life with a graveside service followed by burial in Gatlin Cemetery.
