Edna L. Britton

Mrs. Edna L. Britton age 85 of Hazel Green passed away at her residence Wednesday, August 5, 2015, surrounded by her family. A native of Georgia she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Leona Naymon Alverson. She was a homemaker and married to the late John Clayton Britton who passed away in 2014.

Survivors include her children, Ruth  and Buddy Crabb , Judy and Wayne Johnson, Steve and Pam Britton and Michael and Micki Britton her sister, Betty Moore and brother, Elmer Alverson. 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday August 6, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday August 7, 2015 beginning at 11:00 AM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Benny Berry officiating.
